By the looks of it you're probably having low expectations. But you get some incredibly perfectly grilled meat. I wouldn't believe it can be so juicy. And even more impressive is how consistent they are.

For good reason this dive-terrace that sells only one type of fast food (traditional grilled minced meat roll called "mici") has become a pilgrimage spot for tourist and locals alike. Their food is proper, some would say one of the best in town, the vibe is relaxed and there's always a line in front. Be prepared to eat the mici standing, engulfed in grill smoke and with a cold beer. Have cash ready (card payment was unavailable, maybe to around the fiscal system and increase the profit margin) and enjoy the experience. The place is situated inside the Obor market area.

My favorite spot in Bucharest - the mici are simply delicious and also very affordable. Be wary of people in front of you who may place party sized orders and delay you though - it’s that popular. Also the smoke gets everywhere, but I liked that.

Must-try! Mici was amazing, the atmosphere is just right for such a food and cold beer. They all speak English so it was easy to order. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of mustard they give you. ☺️ Just keep in mind there is a waiting line all the time, so you need a bit of patience, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
